On 14 Nov 2011, HSS MDC(Sec1-3)went to South Korea for a culture and arts immersion program. This enable our students:
1) To experience the first hand the social-economic development and cultural heritage of Korea;
2) Focus of the trip fot out SYF 2013 in terms of Korean traditional dance choreography, foot works and learning to wear traditional costumes(s);
3) The aims is to conduct a meaningful and sustainable educational projects with the Korean schools;
4) To promote youth leadership in performing arts through cultural and arts immersion; and
5) Also to visit sites and activities that is related to the various genre of dance education and explore the possibility of a school exchange program.
^^Everyone was happy and also learned a lot of things for this trip. Everyone learned things like the different types of dance, their learning experiences and more...!
Our Girls have gone to Korean Folk Village, Training Centre of Important Intangible Cultural Asset,Dance Workshop(Samulnori and Buchae Dance),Korean National Theatre,Seoul Central Mosque,Cheonggye Stream and Gwanghwamoon Plaza, Insadong Cultural Street, N Seoul Tower, Teddy Bear Museum, Myeong-dong Shopping Square, Nanta Show,Dongdae-mun,Namdae-mun and Everland!
